The Margaret Walker Center at Jackson State University will host a conversation on the "Eviction and the Law: Knowing Your Rights" with Mississippi State Representative Zakiya Summer, John Jopling and William Bedwell from the Mississippi Center for Justice, and Keisha Stokes-Hough with the Southern Poverty Law Center at 6 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 9, via Facebook Live and YouTube Live.
Kateryna Malaia, assistant professor in the Mississippi State University School of Architecture, will moderate the conversation.
This program is part of a series of public events in conjunction with Evicted: An Exhibition currently on display in the Johnson Hall Art Gallery at Jackson State. The exhibition will run through October 3, 2021. You can learn more here.
