The first event of the CAAD Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee’s Film and Speaker Series is a screening of two short documentary films directed by James Parker, senior special projects and documentary producer. Parker co-produced the series with David Garraway, director of the MSU University Television Center.
Two of episodes from the series, The Hungriest State about food insecurity in Mississippi: The Last Supermarket (episode one) and The Fisherfolk (episode four) will be shown, followed by a post-screening talk with Garraway and Parker.
CAAD is partnering with Starkville Strong to do a supply drive. Here are the items Starkville Strong is looking for that can be dropped off at the showing:

- Makeup/hygiene bags (we use these for feminine hygiene kits)
