Faculty and staff in the College of Architecture, Art and Design are honored each year with awards recognizing excellence in teaching, service, dedication, and research.
CAAD Teaching Excellence Award
Faculty are chosen for the award based on demonstrated excellence in teaching as evaluated by a statement of personal pedagogy or philosophy, student work, a self-critique of their own work and teaching evaluations.
CAAD Staff Award
The staff award honors a staff member in the college who exemplifies professionalism and dedication by performing above and beyond the job description, taking initiative on tasks, relating to others on the staff or faculty and demonstrating innovation or creativity in his/her job.
University Research Award
Research Awards are presented annually each spring by the Mississippi State University Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) and the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine. Faculty, staff and students from each of the university’s eight academic colleges, as well as MSU’s research administration, centers and institutes are honored for their exceptional contributions to the university’s research enterprise.
