Vice President, Experience + Education, NCARB

As Vice President, Experience + Education, Harry Falconer, FAIA, NCARB, HonD, Hon. FCARM, leads the department to provide professional support for the Architectural Experience Program as well as the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s (NCARB) education-related programs including the NCARB Education Standard, Scholars in Professional Practice, Education Alternative for Certification, Foreign Architect Certification programs, and continuing education initiatives. He is responsible for administration of the Council’s outreach initiative to schools, professional conferences, and firms; and management of the Architect Licensing Advisors Community program. Falconer also leads the development and management of the Council’s international mutual recognition arrangements and relations.

Principal, Snow Kreilich Architects

Julie has taught architecture at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard, the University of Southern California, and the University of Minnesota College of Design, where she received the Ralph Rapson Award for Distinguished Teaching. Julie’s design leadership is also evidenced by her participation on juries and delivery of lectures in both academic and professional settings. She has lectured at the Walker Art Center, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the National Building Museum, as well as making keynote addresses at several AIA conferences across the country. She has garnered national recognition as both a practitioner and academic. Since founding Julie Snow Architects in 1995 and continuing the design trajectory of the firm as Snow Kreilich Architects, Julie participates in every project in the studio.

Project Manager, Blackspace Urban Collective

Alicia Olushola Ajayi is an architectural designer, researcher, and writer based in NYC. After receiving a dual masters in architecture and social work from Washington University in St. Louis, Alicia worked as an associate designer at MASS Design Group. There, she was a member of the design team for the ground-breaking Memorial to Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL, a site dedicated to the racial terror and lynching throughout U.S. history. Currently, she is the project manager at BlackSpace Urbanist Collective, a group of design professionals dedicated to protecting and amplifying Black spaces and Black futures.

Founding Principal, Future Firm

Ann Lui, AIA, is Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Michigan and founding principal of Future Firm. Future Firm is a Chicago-based architecture and design research practice that designs spaces for people to come together in new ways. Future Firm’s work has been exhibited at the Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Architecture\Urbanism, Storefront for Art & Architecture, and Exhibit Columbus (forthcoming). Ann was co-curator of the U.S. Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018, titled Dimensions of Citizenship. She co-edited Public Space? Lost and Found (MIT/SA+P Press, 2015) on aesthetic and spatial practices in the civic realm. She holds an SMArchS in History, Theory and Criticism from MIT and a B.Arch from Cornell University.

Vrtical Estudio de Arquitectura

Andrew Sosa has developed his professional experience within the academic field teaching design workshops at the Universidad Anáhuac and the Universidad CENTRO de Diseño Cine y Televisión. As an architect, his work focuses on efficiency and design functionality. He currently teaches the Object and Space design workshop at the University CENTRO, as well as co-founder of Vrtical Estudio de Arquitectura

His professional history is characterized by seeking a balance in between practicing his profession pragmatically and having a strong academic background. He has taught project workshops at UNAM, Technical University of Berlin, CENTRO, Universidad Anáhuac México, as well as academic collaborations with the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is currently a professor at UNAM and Universidad Iberoamericana, in addition to being a founder of VRTICAL Estudio de Arquitectura
