Harrison Lecture: Seth Rodewald-Bates

I chose CAAD because I wanted a hands-on architecture school experience that doesn’t shy away from pushing the envelope. I also love the personable professors and the tight-knit community.
My favorite spot on campus is the Chapel of Memories courtyard when the fountain is on.
Architecture school is going to be very hard and very fulfilling.
CAAD at MSU allows me to integrate my passions of art, design, math, science, and history into my studio projects and research. It has been one of my biggest stepping stones into a professional career, and for that, I'm forever grateful.
The community between students within the School of Architecture was a real draw for me. I loved that students from different years were able to see what others were working on and ask questions when they needed. The openness of the barn was very interesting to me, and I still love it to this day.

I chose CAAD at MSU because the environment felt like home. It was very inspiring being surrounded by so many people who enjoy similar things as you.
