The Graphic Design Portfolio Review Workshop is mandatory. Any student intending to apply to the Graphic Design Concentration must attend. During this workshop, Graphic Design faculty will explain the review requirements and process in detail and answer questions.
My wife got accepted for her masters and Ph.D. program in Forestry, and I needed to return back to school. I was already doing freelance photography, so I choose to apply for the art department here.
I chose CAADatMSU because the community was very inviting; the professors guided me on great potential career paths.
When I'm not in the studio, my favorite spot on campus is the pathway between Hull and the Butler Guesthouse. At night the lights are very soothing, and it's the perfect distance between food and the studio.

I chose CAAD at MSU because of the smaller class sizes that allow for a better opportunity to know classmates and professors. Also because of the understanding professors have about students being at different levels and going at different paces.
I would have to say my favorite spot on campus is the Drill Field sitting on one of the many benches.
