The Mississippi State University Department of Art Professor received a third-place honor in the International 16th Pollux Awards and honorable mention in the 16th Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers.

Hanna Bewley recently completed a new mural, part of a collaboration between the fine arts and biology departments.  

On display April 29-May 1, “Passage” gives viewers insight into the journeys of these talented young artists earning degrees from the state’s largest undergraduate studio art program.

She is receiving a $5,000 award and will be included in an exhibition at the Bo Bartlett Center in Columbus, Georgia, from Aug. 20 through Dec. 20, 2021.
