Mississippi State University interior design students recently won several awards including Interior Design Best in Show in the Salute Design Competition, a national juried interior design and graphic design student competition.
I've loved all things design since I was a little girl. After coming to Preview Day and talking to some of the CAAD students and professors, I loved seeing how well they knew each other and how encouraging everyone was. Since entering the program, I have learned and grown so much, and I know CAAD was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I chose CAAD at MSU because I have a passion for Interior Design and was amazed with the program here! (I also grew up a huge State fan, so that’s a plus!)

For the final day of iDesign, campers participated in a gallery show in Etheredge Hall followed by lunch with their families. The campers were able to show off all of their hard work and hopefully learned something new about Interior Design!
Campers spent the day working on their renderings and began board layouts for the gallery show tomorrow!
On day 3 campers learned about the different types of lighting and participated in a scavenger hunt around campus to identify the different kinds of lighting in buildings. Afterwards they had a rendering workshop where they rendered their floorplans and exterior elevations. They also picked finishes for their projects from the materials library.
