Why did you choose CAAD at MSU?
I chose CAAD at MSU because I’ve always been passionate about coming to Mississippi State and pursuing my dream of interior design. My mom went through the same program at State, and it’s been an honor being able to share the same school and passion of design with her.
Favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the junction on game days when its full of cowbells, maroon and white and lots of bbq!
If you could go back and tell your high school self one thing, what would it be.
If I could go back and tell my high school self one the thing, it would be to come into college with confidence in who I am and what my design abilities are. Confidence is key, and since college can be intimidating, it’s important to be rooted in what makes you who you are and search for friends who push you to be the best version of yourself. Also, seek out role models in your major, Greek chapter, Bible study, or any organization, that you want to learn from.

I love game nights with friends, coffee in the morning, winning guitar hero on the Wii, baking anything sweet, and taking road trips any chance I get.
